Northlight Consulting is an environmental,
safety and health consulting company. The Northlight
logo had 2 major requirements. First, it needed
to focus on the environmental aspect of their consulting
business. Secondly, it needed a strong logotype
element that could be used in lieu of the full logo.
The N and bird elements of the Northlight
logo were inspired by a logo developed in the early 70's for
Northlight's owner, who at the time was a professional photographer.
